The Musician: An Introduction. There was a girl.
The girl was about seven years of age. She was a lovely child: always did what she was told, didn't have tantrums in the shopping markets, and was as good as gold.
One day, when she was very small her father gave the girl a microphone. A small twenty dollar microphone was all it needed to find her purpose in life. She loved it so much. How she loved to sing and dance. They all said she would be famous, on the streets of Broadway, but of course.
There was a twist.
She lived just down the road from her school. She would walk home with a slighter older girl who was her neighbour. They were good friends.
That friend was sic
Nightmare StitchNightmares are only something to be contemplated about,
But one is to ask, What is the vision of a nightmare?
Black, dripping off life, Intoxicating existence with death;
Red, piercing flesh, Killing more not less.
But the real meaning could be what's hidden in our Gran's arcane sewing box:
A doll, Ripped and worn out,
With dark black buttons for eyes, Stitched onto it's round white cotton head.
Black thread, A zigzag pattern that stretched from one side to the other,
Gives it's horrid deranged mouth.
The head is attached to a limp body, Dressed in an almost menacing suit;
A white shirt, Covered by dark maroon stains,
InspireIsn't it funny,
How all the small things,
Are the ones that inspire most?
Isn't it funny,
How a tree,
Can make you write a whole story?
I found I was inspired,
By a bird's box,
Hanging from fraying string,
Flailing in the wind.
I was inspired,
By the piano,
My fingers playing through the notes,
Without flaw or blemish.
I was inspired,
Standing alone in the rain,
Seeing a faint rainbow,
Trying to shine through the dark clouds.
Isn't it funny,
How you can find,
All these things so inspiring?
The person next to you,
Finds the object so unimportant.
Happen to normal people,
Changing their lives
Note a DreamHave you ever had a hope?
Hoped for something amazing?
Dreamt for something enthralling?
Write it on paper,
Share it with the world.
Stick it on the wall,
Write it and don't stall.
To have a hope,
To have a dream,
Is something neat,
Something beyond sweet.
Don't you see?
It's the prettiest thing in the world,
It's pretty like a pearl.
Let's collect them all,
One, Two, Three.
Only a hundred more,
Unite our hopes and break the law.
I want to become famous.
That's an amazing thing to dream for.
Peace, Love, Happiness.
I guess we all hope for
Something BeautifulLook, A bird is flapping it's wings.
A small furry animal, Scurrying away into the trees.
There's bright blue sky,
And lush dark green grass,
Containing flowers with bright colours.
These things are small,
And we see these things every day,
But they're something sweet,
They're a small part of something beautiful.
Look, Some life is growing inbetween the cracks in the cement.
There's a tree, Its leaves flailing in the wind.
The wind is sharp, And ice cold.
There is silence,
Nothing to hear but the breathing of your own heart.
Weeds are a nuiscance,
The tree's leaves blow in your face,
The wind gives you a col
The Circus on a Lonely HorizonToday I feel wonderful,
And I have the need,
To do something constructive.
My head has exploded,
Spilling out ideas,
Crashing into the air.
Before they leave,
The ideas must be saved,
And they'll flood into this poem.
See, There's this girl,
A beautiful girl,
And she changed.
This bright, Happy girl,
Her personality changed,
And she became alone.
The beautiful girl,
Had her reasons though,
Because she died.
She relives her life,
In the place of the dead,
Drifting in and out of life and death.
She appeared human still,
Until she detaches a limb,
Or breaks a bone.
This amazing girl,
Sits at the corner of the cemetery,
